FFP2 masks provide almost 100 per cent protection
A study by the Max Planck Institute shows that FFP2 masks are 75 times more effective than standard hygiene masks - provided they are worn correctly. Meanwhile, the Swiss Covid Task Force also confirms that wearing an FFP2 mask provides additional protection in situations with increased exposure.
In the situation report that the task force recently published, it talks about concrete situations in which wearing an FFP2 mask could make sense, such as on public transport or at public events where people do not engage in much or any physical activity. The task force refers to the results of a study by a team from the Max Planck Institute in Göttingen, which shows that a well-fitting FFP2 mask provides almost 100 per cent protection against corona. The aerosol particles no longer get past the mask, and glasses also fog up less.
Fairmask offers high-quality masks in the FFP2 category from various manufacturing countries (Germany, Turkey and China) and in different price categories.
