Protective function
These medical masks are intended for single use only. They do not protect the carrier from aerosols in the air, but protect the environment from any pathogens that the carrier would spread. In addition, they protect the wearer against droplet infections from the saliva of other people and against infections via the oral or nasal mucosa through contact.
